Shaza seamlessly incorporates African drumming and acoustic guitar into her performances, creating a captivating atmosphere that sets the perfect tone for your wedding day. Imagine sipping cocktails and enjoying canapés while being serenaded by Shaza’s soulful vocals and infectious energy. The magic doesn’t stop there. When the sun sets and it’s time to hit the dance floor, Shaza seamlessly transitions into her role as a DJ. Shaza makes a point to cater for all age groups and adjust the music style as the event progresses. We create an epic, out-of-this-world vibe to keep your guests on the dancefloor.

Shaza is happy to accommodate music/song requests, as long as the song/playlist is approved with the bride and groom’s permission. Apple Music/Spotify/YouTube playlists can be sent directly via email or WhatsApp and these songs will be incorporated into the order of events. Your playlists and requests will give Shaza insight as to your music preference and Shaza can then customise the playlist to suit your individual taste and style. Shaza’s music adds an extra layer of elegance and charm to your event.

Intimate Wedding Package

Perfect for smaller, more personal celebrations, the Intimate Wedding Package is designed to create a warm and memorable atmosphere for your closest family and friends. With carefully curated live music and a refined sound setup suited for smaller venues, this package provides a beautiful musical backdrop that enhances every moment of your special day while maintaining an elegant and relaxed ambience. Includes two sound setups and formality requirements needed for smaller, intimate wedding celebrations for up to 50 guests.

Setup 1 - Canape Session: Includes setup, sound check, wireless microphone, background music of your choice and live entertainment for up to 60 minutes.
*We create a warm and welcoming atmosphere to keep guests entertained during the canapé session.
Setup 2 - Main Reception: Includes setup, sound check, music of your choice and wireless microphone for speeches, cables and sound system to create a relaxed and memorable atmosphere during the reception.

So when it comes to having to trust someone, you have not met nor heard live, with the entertainment of that special day, it was a concern of mine. (We booked this from the UK).  However planning, communicating and recommendations with / from Shaza was reassuring for both my daughter and I. On the day everything ran smoothly and was done to perfection. Shaza was a true entertainer and the floor was never empty, you could also not tell the difference between her and the original artists. I really could not fault the professional performance and would not hesitate in recommending Shaza for any function. A huge THANK YOU, from me personally, for making Britt & Kev’s wedding day so Special, Unique and Unforgettable. She was and is still super happy and the day exceeded all of our expectations (we are still raving about it weeks down the line). Right from the get go, Shaza did everything she could to make our day the best it could be. The way she read the guests throughout the night meant the dance floor was always full. Shaza on the African Drum started the party straightaway, her voice is insane and she really made the experience for us and our guests one of a kind. There are no words to describe how thankful we are to have found Shaza! Shaza was nothing short of remarkable in her ability to draw the audience. The guests raved about her entertainment ability (singing, drum playing) and of course DJ abilities. We have since made use of Shaza's services for both my husbands and my 50th birthdays and they were a raging success no thanks to Shaze's entertainment abilities. Our party guests have been raving for weeks about the excellent time they had, no thanks to Shaze.
